SHOW NOTES: Episode 21


Thoughts about ourselves, like our confidence, our beliefs and our stories about ourselves are put to the test whether we are going through an infertility journey or not. Today, for the month of February, right near Valentine's Day, I want to share my thoughts about a love challenge and cultivating more love and acceptance in yourself.


On today’s episode I want to challenge you to sit down at some point this month and come up with 28 things that you love about yourself. There are so many things about us we can love about our personality, about the way we show up in the world, about just so many different things. I am sharing my list as inspiration for you in different areas of your life so that maybe you could find things that you love about yourself too.  


Here is what I love about myself:

1. I love my ability to experience the emotion of love. 

2. I love the function of my brain in the fact that it really loves to deep think about my thoughts.

3. I love my mobility to be able to walk and move around and go do things that I want to do to be active in the things that I want to participate in.

4. I love my passion for self growth and for increasing my knowledge and always learning.

5. I love my height. For those of you that don't know, I'm just over six feet tall. 

6. I love my willingness to wear bright colors. So for those of you that don't know, I had my colors analyzed a couple years ago and surprisingly was identified to be a spring and as a spring, I should be wearing all these bright colors.  

7. I love my passion to show up to share with others and really share the ability for coaching and thought work to create transformation in our lives.

8. I love my ability to cultivate love and friendship and relationship with my husband.  

9. I love the dedication I have shown as showing up as this strong and this loving mother from day one of trying to conceive from day one.

10. I love my passion for spending time in the water and in the sun whenever possible.

11. I love love, love, love my mentality of whatever it is, we will figure it out. 

12. I love my passion for reading. 

13. I love my ability to show up and get things done.  

14. I love the ability of my heart to pump blood throughout my body.

15. I love my detail oriented brain.  

16. I love my willingness to try new things even when I feel scared.  

17. I love that I have learned this ability to prioritize myself.

18. I love my long hair.  

19. I love that I am very happy with my face. I don't have a bunch of terrible things to say about my face. 

20. I love my ability to listen and listen deeply and hold space for those around me.

21. I love of my auditory listening skills.

22. I love that I have a tendency towards being organized.

23. I love that I have loyalty for those around me. 

24. I love that I want to be around dogs all the time. 

25. I love my ability to lift heavy weights.  

26. I love my ability to outsource things to prioritize my schedule.  

27. I love that I have had the willingness to be vulnerable.

28. I love that I am showing up day after day to leave this world a slightly better place than when I first showed up in it.

    

Now I challenge you to identify 28 things you love about yourself. Tag me as you work on this, share what you're coming up with and message me to tell me how it's going.
