The Path To Motherhood Podcast

I think it's really important for women to feel empowered in their health, especially when it comes to fertility and pregnancy.

International Women's Day + Dr. Rowena Winkler's Fertility Story

SHOW NOTES: Episode 24

Hi there and welcome to today’s episode of The Path to Motherhood Podcast! In celebration of this year’s International Women’s Day being all about embracing equity, I have the pleasure of bringing you guest, Dr. Rowena Winkler. Dr. Winkler, also known as the Inner Muse Mentor, is a women's empowerment coach who helps clients land dream careers, build businesses, and live authentically by enabling them to tap into self-love, build confidence, get unstuck, and make a change.

On today’s episode, Dr. Winkler talks about her infertility story that led to doing IVF and how infertility impacted her experience when she became pregnant. We chat about not getting caught up in comparing your own infertility journey to someone else’s, the importance of having control over your emotions throughout the journey and how journaling can be a great way to connect to what you are authentically feeling in that moment. We talk about how the theme of this year’s International Women’s day is embracing equity, how maternal equity is not where it should be, and how important it is for women to feel empowered in their health, especially when it comes to fertility and pregnancy. We also talk about speaking up when you feel like your voice is not being heard, raising awareness of maternal equity and the importance of advocating for embracing equity.

Happy International Women’s Day to all of you amazing women out there. I really enjoyed this conversation with Dr. Winkler and would love to hear how this episode helped you! Share this podcast with a friend, leave a review, or share on your social media and tag me @SarahBrandell.
