How Coaching Can Help Thought Loops


SHOW NOTES: Episode 25


During infertility, our fear of uncertainty gets exacerbated and we are constantly reminded that we don't have total control over the outcome which can lead to feeling overwhelmed. Today, I am talking about thought loops and how to switch from a feeling of overwhelm to a feeling of calm.


On today’s episode I am talking about thought loops and the overwhelm that can come from our thoughts of uncertainty. The only form of certainty that we have control over and that we can create is self trust in ourselves. I want you to sit with your emotions, identify what you want to be feeling instead of feeling overwhelmed and ask yourself what new thoughts you need to be thinking to bring yourself to that new feeling and create an action plan to get you there. You have permission to take the old thoughts and throw them in the trash and if it keeps showing back up like a weed, pluck it and throw it away again. Keep planting seeds of your new thought loop and over time, those will begin to grow and flourish be the thought loops that you make your decisions from.     

            

You can intentionally take a couple minutes everyday and think about how you are showing up and believing that you are doing the best that you can do. Would you rather show up in your journey overwhelmed or would you rather show up feeling calm? If you are coming from a clear, calm space, think about how much more love and self trust you could possibly build for yourself. At the end of the day it is your choice to choose the path that will be the most successful for you and it takes effort and it takes practice to intentionally shift yourself to a new thought process.  

I truly believe in the power of focusing on your thoughts. It is my passion to help you work through your thoughts and shift your thought loops so you have more control over them.
