SHOW NOTES: Episode 41
I wanted to share with you guys something fun that I think we absolutely don't do enough of on this journey. And that is just encouraging you all to take time to reflect on our wins we have had through our infertility journey. Normally we don't like to do this until they have that baby in their arms. And then of course it's easy to answer that question.
But I want you to do it wherever you are right now in your journey.
Doesn't matter what you have to show for your journey, what you don't have to show for your journey.
There are some wins along the way.
I can promise you that.
I asked my clients to share some of their wins and this is what they shared:
- I am a more self connected person.
- I have compassion for what I have gone through.
- I have learned to motivate myself through love rather than shame.
- I have begun to show up as the mother I want to be now while I am still navigating infertility.
- I have built the skills to manage my emotions with thought work which will carry over into pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood.
- I have begun to believe in myself.

Honestly, when these women shared these wins with me, I teared up. It is an honor to work with this women and support them through such a troubling time.
"EAT Mode" - Equal Air Time
You can see how different focusing on and prioritizing energy towards those wins feels than just thinking about all the negative things that infertility has brought you. This is why offering Equal Air Time can be so helpful along the way.
We cannot spend 24/7, 365 in negativity mode. It's very easy to do that.
You have to remind your brain, hey, yes, this has been hard.
Yes, I have had sadness.
Yes, I have had grief.
Yes, this has been a tough week, but guess what.
I have also had wins.

I encourage every single one of you to do this week is to take some time to really reflect what have you taken away from your journey.
